Dr. Corine Munnings, Founder

Throughout her career, Dr. Munnings has seen that healing is shaped not only by clinical treatment, but by confidence, identity, and the way a woman feels when she looks at herself.

Her journey in medicine spans more than fifteen years, rooted in a passion for helping others feel confident in their own skin. As the founder of Illume MD, an aesthetic art and wellness practice in Coral Springs, Florida, she has built her career at the intersection of medicine, confidence, and self-image.

House of Esther extends that philosophy beyond the walls of the practice, ensuring women in hardship are not excluded from the dignity, confidence, and emotional benefits of personal care.

Our Philosophy

We're not solving everything, and that's okay

House of Esther doesn't claim to close the wage gap, end food insecurity, or solve the homelessness crisis. But we know this: women, especially mothers, consistently put themselves last. They sacrifice their own needs for their children, their families, their survival.

We believe there is profound value in pausing to say: you matter too. Feeling cared for, confident, and seen isn't a luxury. It's a foundation for everything that comes next.

The Evidence

Self-care is not vanity. It's science.

In the landmark Enclothed Cognition study (Adam & Galinsky, 2012), researchers found that what we wear, and the meaning we attach to it, directly influences confidence and cognitive performance. When a woman is given the opportunity to care for herself, it can restore confidence, dignity, identity, and hope. House of Esther isn't about beauty. It's about restoring hope through intentional self-care.
